I made Quiche again and thought I’d do a step-by-step write up
Quiche is delicious. Quiche is simple. Quiche is infinitely variable.
I make Quiche all the time, and after years and scores of attempts, this is how I make it.
A Pie Crust (I prefer pre-made crusts, because I hate working with dough)
1 cup milk
~8oz of cheese (usually cheddar, but I’ve used monterey jack, feta, pepper jack. Whatever goes well with your filling)
Filling (Whatever you like, I’ve done apples & sausage, bacon & spinach, taco meat, you name it. Use whatever sounds good or (like me) whatever is leftover in your fridge)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
prepare your pie crust
Mix together your cheese and fillings and place in crust
Mix together eggs and milk
Pour over filling and bake at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes
